Linux

Duncan has provided me with the necessary tools to build a Linux box where i can become familiar with it.  Linux is the main OS and one of the strongest tools to use when your cracking.  This is because Linux is command line based and therefore is very powerful tool to use.  I have the necessary tools to configure the same box with a second hard drive so i can run a XP version of windows to practice cracks on those as well.  Some of the cracks and tools i will use in my field of study are windows based and i need practice in those.  I believe that i will migrate more to Linux through the course of this... well course.  In addition Duncan has also provided me with books to read on the beginnings of Forensics Computer Analyst.  This book gives step by step and detailed information on: what your doing, the purpose, and how to.
